ILPS European Lecithin 2005 Course in Ghent attracts 80 persons The final
number of participants exceeded with 80 by far the original budgeted
number. Registrations
came from food, feed and pharmaceutical industrial companies and universities.
The papers and demonstrations were presented by ILPS Lecithin expert
members and scientific staff from the Ghent University. All participants
received the course hand book and CD-ROM with the presentations and
the certificate of attendance. More...

About 10
posters were placed on the billboards. 6 PhD students, who in Europe
often belong to the temporarily scientific University staff, had submitted
posters about their PhD projects. The jury judged them all as high
quality posters. The ILPS Best Poster Award was handed over by Professor
Koen Dewettinck to Annet Knoth from Friedrich- Schiller University
Jena Germany. Her poster “Stability of phospholipid-containing water-in-oil
emulsions” reports results of her study within the Dept. of Food Technology,
