ILPS e.V. Announces New 2026 Scholarship Program for Research

 

Advancing the Future of Lecithin and Phospholipids Science: The 2026 ILPS Scholarship Program

 

In alignment with our mission to promote scientific and practical research, the ILPS e.V. has officially put into effect its updated scholarship regulations (Version 1/ February 2026). 

 

This program is designed to foster the next generation of scientists and technologists by facilitating international exchange and providing financial support for high-impact research.

 

 

Types of Support Available:

 

• Training Scholarships: For undergraduate and graduate students (Bachelor/Master) or interns working in collaboration with an ILPS member who provides mentorship and coaching.

 

• Research Scholarships: For post-graduate academics and scientists with a record of publication who wish to conduct research at institutions, preferably abroad, in partnership with an ILPS member.

 

 

Key Program Details:

 

• Funding: Scholarships are awarded within an annual budget of approximately 3,000.00 EUR.

 

• Tax Status: Under the German tax code (§ 3 No. 44 EStG), these scholarships are generally tax-free.

 

• Mentorship: A core requirement for all applicants is a collaborative partnership with an active ILPS member to ensure professional guidance throughout the funding period.

 

 

How to Apply: 

 

Applications are informal and may be submitted to the ILPS e.V. Board. Candidates should provide a motivation letter, a tabular CV, their most recent academic certificates, and a brief description of the intended research or training. Decisions are made unanimously by the ILPS Board based on the applicant's eligibility and the current availability of funds.
